ORDERING INFORMATION

Americast mantels and surrounds are sold through our network of valued dealers. Call us at 770-987-3827 or send us an email request for a dealer near you.

SHIPPING POLICY

Freight charges are the responsibility of the customer. FOB factory.

Most orders are shipped via LTL truck freight unless otherwise specified by customer.

Additional Rates:
Additional packaging fee may apply.

There will be an additional $100 fee for residential deliveries. Orders that are delivered to a residential address will be contacted by the freight carrier to arrange a delivery time.

The customer must be present at the time of delivery to receive and inspect the shipment. (See Shipping Damage). We recommend at least twp people be present to unload the shipment.

Shipping Damage:
We do our best to ensure that your order arrives in satisfactory condition. We inspect your order prior to shipment to ensure all items are in excellent condition before they leave our facilities. Although our products are packaged securely to prevent any damage, it’s possible that damage may occur during shipment.

It is your responsibility to inspect the goods you receive immediately upon receipt for damage. If any goods appear to be damaged in shipment, please note it on the Bill of Lading, refuse shipment and contact us immediately. Digital photos are helpful in facilitating damage claims. If possible, please take digital photos of the packaging and damaged goods. We will assist in filing a freight damage claim on your behalf.

NOTE: We cannot be held responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement of damaged items if there is no notation on the Bill of Lading. Shipping damage claims made more than 10 days after the receipt of products will be denied.

RETURNS POLICY

All products are made to order and all sales are final except in rare circumstances. A Return Merchandise Authorization must be obtained prior to returning any items. All products must be shipped back to Americast properly packaged so that they arrive undamaged and in resalable condition. Returned items must be shipped freight prepaid. We will not accept freight collect shipments.

Shipping charges are not refunded.

Mantel Measuring Checklist

Measure firebox opening. If there is zero clearance, check for vents and access panels to verify how much of the firebox can be covered.

Verify there is adequate clearance at bottom of firebox to accommodate thickness of hearth and mortar bed.

Verify type and dimensions of finished floor (i.e. if hardwood flooring, cutout in floor to be 1/8″ larger than hearth on all visible sides.)

If an over mantel is to be installed, verify height of crown moulding in room, if any.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Americast Architectural Stone warrants that its products are free of manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase to the original owner for life. This warranty does not cover any labor, transportation costs, damage or other expenses of any kind, incurred with the sale or use of the products. A Return Merchandise Authorization must be obtained from Americast prior to returning any product.
